Our Story
Jawahar Vijay Singh Mahavidyalaya was established with a singular vision — to bring higher education within reach of students in the rural heartland of Bundelkhand. Located at Nasirpur, near Orai in Jalaun district, the college has grown steadily to become a trusted institution for hundreds of families across the region.
Affiliated to Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, the college offers undergraduate programmes in Arts and Science, providing students with nationally recognised degrees that open doors to employment, further studies, and a better future.
Over the years, our alumni have gone on to serve in government, education, healthcare, and business — carrying the values of discipline, integrity, and community service that define the JVS spirit.

Bundelkhand University, Jhansi is a state university established under the Bundelkhand University Act, 1975. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is the affiliating university for colleges across Jhansi, Jalaun, Lalitpur, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Banda, and Chitrakoot districts.
